Today I spent a good 6 hours riding the new Milwaukee Bicycle Co fixed gear. It's the most stable bike I've ever ridden. No rear triangle flex, no overlap and a solid front end makes it handle like a Beast. After I got over the initial shock of having a top tube again, I began to throw the bike around. The steep HTA [74.5°] and the longer top tube really increases maneuverability with spin tricks. 180s are easier and anything with a g-turn initiation feels much sharper.
We rode from Williamsburg over to Chinatown, down to DUMBO and further southwest to Red Hook. I rode all day, doing 180's hitting gaps and all the normal riding we go through and not once did I feel uncomfortable with its movements.
I'm sold. Seeing this project come to life has really made me stoked to ride! Still not sure on availability or pricing, so don't ask. Once I find out, I'll post the information.

As usual in our Fixed gear community, people are going to love or hate! Personnaly I am on the "love" side ;-). This build looks killer. Also, I am impress of how in such few years, companies like Milwaukee Bicycles has come with such specific products for "tricks oriented" fixed gear biking.

Typically not a fan of trick specific fixed gears... until now. Definitely persuaded me with this Milwaukee! Can't wait to see some shots of you killin' it on this whip. She's a beaut!

They're Polycarbonate. Really light and wide enough without giving you pedal strike. I digem.

No overlap while riding. I still have overlap when barspinning. Although it is less than my BMW had. I also am riding the large frame, so naturally there will be less.

Burd is riding a 57cm and he is 6'-6". I have about 6" of seatpost sticking out of mine and my inseam is about 35". I have very long legs, a short torso and long arms.
