When I first heard Beyond the Permafrost two years ago, I knew Skeletonwitch would be a blast to watch. I caught them last year and was beyond stoked on their show. Tonight they played the small and crowded backroom at Union Pool and all fucking hell broke loose. What a great band. Seriously bringing the death into thrash with drunken shenanigans and crowd jokes the whole time.
If you haven't picked up Breathing the Fire, do so. It's their second release and one of the best albums of 2009.
