Aegis Bikes Closing

Built To Last As Long AS You....

Sadly, Aegis bikes have announced that they will be closing their doors. The Maine-based bicycle manufacturer has been making hand-built carbon fiber frames for years and due to uncontrollable circumstances they have no choice but to halt fabrication and shut down.

Not to make light of the subject, but to clear their stock, they've reduced all their frames up to 60% off. You can get a handmade in the USA carbon track, road, mountain or TT frame for around $1200.

Here's the link to the frames for sale and enter the code ""clearance60" for the 60% off discount.

AHH man that stinks, to bad they couldn't keep production rolling. damn economy. it stinks when bicycle mechanics and bike companies cant find work.

i have an aro one like the one pictured. aegis is out, but argus bikes (also in maine) hired the aegis crew, and is doing refurbishing, repairs, and can supply aegis owners with dropouts and shit like that. they do not sell a track model yet, so for all of us that got our aro ones, damn we're lucky. the best carbon track bike money can (no longer) buy.
