I was reminded of this track a few weeks ago by a Twitter follower. N-Type's previous mixes and Dubstep Allstars compilation were straight grimy as hell. In a time when a lot of the mainstream dubstep producers are moving more towards a dance-centric sound and abandoning the dark roots of dubstep, N-Type keeps it twisted with an demented ambiance. Dark Matter is a perfect example of his music. Check out the second cut on this Black Acre release below.
