It's funny how the Internet works. Last week a reader forwarded me this Eddy Merckx board game that was for sale on Etsy. I saved the images and planned on scheduling it for this week's Merckx Mondays. Then, this morning, Aaron at Hipster Nascar posted it and cracked a joke about me trademarking Merckx Mondays. You're laughing dude, but my lawyers are sending you a cease and desist notice right now. Sorry man, I hope you understand. ;-)
Even though Aaron let the cat out of the bag, that's not stopping me from posting it up! Check out some more photos of the French and Flemish board game below.

Money Money!
Now after you checked the Etsy link, I'm sure you noticed that it was no longer in stock and before you ask, no I didn't buy it. Aaron's frien Emily did. Not a bad score either! If you're really bored (board?), check out this video of a few people playing the game, courtesy of the Etsy page.
To add to this week's post, I've got some special photos sent over by none other than Tam Pham. You remember Tam's hour record practice bike from the Merckx Mondays Hour Record post right?
Well, he sent over some more photos of Merckx training for the Hour Record in Mexico City.
Here's Merckx's backup bike in Mexico.
Eddy staring down the bike that will carry him to victory. Notice the proprietary narrow Campagnolo hub. There was a special Cinelli fork that was proposed for the bike, but Ernesto decided to not use it in the final design. Hence the spacers.
Seen better here, on the bike that's in Brussels Underground on display.
This is my favorite out of the bunch. Merckx on a practice run on the actual Hour Record bike. Note the lack of the Pino stem and the drillium bottom bracket shell.
Many thanks to Tam Pham for supplying some great information. Best wishes man!
