Yesterday I gave you a teaser of Cassidy's Kalavinka. This bike has quite the paintjob and a history to boot. While I'm not a huge Keirin freak, a Kalavinka is a great exception. These bikes aren't as disposable as the rest and are some of the most beautifully-crafted bikes to come from Japan.
Check out some more photos of this Beautiful Bicycle below.
The paint job on this track bike made me want to try something a little different in the post-processing. With a nice jade green to lavender fade, these photos reflect that in an attempt to make the colors pop more.
I don't think I've ever seen such a nice paint job.
Like all Kalavinka's the detailing is perfect.
110 rear spacing and clean chainstays lead to the beautifully-constructed bottom bracket cluster.
So clean!
Right down to the stamp.
Like most racing bikes, this one has a protective carbon overlay to protect the shell from the chain while it's undergoing maintenance.
Like I said, this bike has a history!
The head tube cluster is full of clean and precise lines.
Proper track drops and a Keirin brake.
With the most iconic headbadge of them all.
This bike was built to go fast!
With a non-drive side lavender paint, it's the most beautiful NJS bike I've photographed.
How's that for a desktop image?
Stunning! Many thanks to Cassidy and the Fast Folks crew for letting me photograph her. If you're interested, it's for sale. Call the shop! There are a few more photos on my Flickr, so checkem out!

I'm pretty sure I saw this exact bike hanging up behind the workshop in Tokyo Fixed Gear in London a while ago. It's pearlescent paint job is even more amazing in person! It's a long way from Manchester Velodrome now!
