Etienne Chaize emailed me his latest project: interpretations of famous cycling brands. Read as he described his process:

"Famous logos of bicycle parts manufacturers, as an exercice to render materials, such as metal and colored glass. Logo design is All Rights Reserved to their respective owners, Cinelli, Colnago, Shimano and its Dura Ace brand.

Shapes are drawn in Illustrator, imported in Photoshop as masks, and then the handpainting begins!(Wacom tablet)"
