When Matt put his bike together at my house last week, all I thought was, damn. The raw Volume Thrasher V2 with the Phoenix chrome fork and chrome Congoloid bars just looked so sick. I love raw and chrome and with the micro-gearing and Resist Nomads, it reminded me of my BMX bike. Matt really put this beauty to work here in Austin, blasting tables and sliding his tires over coping, curbs and ledges.
This machine embodies the 700c FGFS that I love so much. Check out more below!
His compact gearing made possible by the new Resist prototype micro-drive hub. I was amazed at how simple this hub was. No bolts, no loctite, just a very unique way to change out a 9 or a 10t driver with ease. Matt's been testing it out with 0 issues, other than some chain slap. Expect more from Matt, Resist and Volume in the coming months.
And I've got a ton of great photos to post up this week.
